''I'm no longer able to move my body the way I want to when I'm racing,'' Okabe said.

Asashoryu extends winning run at summer sumo

TOKYO, Japan - Grand champion Asashoryu (R) overcame Kakizoe to extend his winning streak to 32 on the second day of the Summer Grand Sumo Tournament in Tokyo on May 10. Kotomitsuki upsets Musashimaru

FUKUOKA, Japan - No. 9 maegashira Kotomitsuki throws down grand champion Musashimaru Nov. 15 to pull off a giant-killing act and join yokozuna Akebono in a two-way lead at 10-1 in the Kyushu Grand Sumo Tournament. Musashimaru slipped into a tie with yokozuna Takanohana and ozeki duo Kaio and Chiyotaikai, who all posted victories to remain one win off the pace at 9-2 with four days left of the 15-day meet at Fukuoka Kokusai Center.
